ABOUT

Our men's team competes in the Londgendale Division One on Saturday afternoons and has done so for many years. The league offers good competition and has improved significantly recently, with several teams more than capable of winning the title.

The league made a decision that, for the start of the 2016 campaign, ladies would be able to compete in the league - a rule that has been hugely beneficial for the club, as our girls are some of the best bowlers in the area.

Last season, Tintwistle pulled off a miraculous escape to avoid relegation as we scored 18 points in our last two home games (played in a double header on 'Super Sunday') against Grapes Hotel and South Manchester RBL.

Those results meant that Grapes would join Hyde Park in Division Two for the forthcoming campaign, while Spring Gardens 'A' and George and Dragon were promoted to the top division.
