Tintwistle Bowling Club
ABOUT
In 2015, the Club made a decision to enter a team into the Stockport Workshops league where teams contain a mixture of men and women who compete against one another.
Tintwistle won the Division C title in 2015 and were promoted from Division B as runners-up the following season. The club also claimed the Stockport Workshops Midweek Cup with a convincing win over Gamesley in the final at Woodley Sports in 2016.
After an impressive campaign, Tintwistle finished with the top two bowlers in Division B as Warwick Coulthard won the league averages, closely followed by Sue Downing. The previous season saw Sue narrowly beat Warwick to the Division C averages, with seven Tintwistle players finishing in the top twelve.
